Tips

  1. On Mobile, flip device horizontally for keyboard space. Live Recording mode on some mobiles can be laggy (Desktop usage advised).
  2. It's easier to find chords that work well together if you stick to chords from ONE keyboard row (eg a row beginning with 1, Q, A or \ )
  3. Basic chords are on the number row, with cool variations of those chords on the rows beneith
  4. You can improve your rhythm timing if you set the metronome to a slower tempo. Then after recording, choose to increase the tempo timing when asked.
  5. If using Suno - it doesn't matter that Easy Cool Chords uses piano. Suno will change the piano to whatever instrument fits the style you've requested.
  6. If using Suno - It doesn't matter if the timing of your chords are a bit off / wonky. AI usually straightens them out. (Optionally you can Quantize your recording, or record it slowly then speed it up, at Step 3).
  7. If you hear no sound when pressing a keyboard key, click anywhere on this webpage first

STEP THREE

PRACTICE YOUR SEQUENCE. Then hit RECORD and play your chord pattern about 4 times (about 20 seconds worth of recording works well).

STEP FOUR (For Suno Users etc)

UPLOAD YOUR RECORDING to Suno and choose COVER. Set the Audio Influence (try 100%), specify whatever style of music you want. Similar process may apply to other AI music generators.
